History and Premises
Genuine Venetian tradition has been carrying on since 1885 in a cosy and suffused atmosphere with antique inn furnishings that is embellished with a sumptuous display of votive offering pictures coming from the private collection of Luciano Pasotto on the walls and in the niches. They are all dated between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Giorgione’s motto – borrowed from Tito Livio’s stories – is "Hic manebimus optime", meaning “We’ll have a great time here”. This promise has been kept as far as both its hospitality and exquisite cuisine are concerned.
